Just received two couple of Griffith Review, the 23rd Edition titled ‘Essentially Creative’, where my shot ‘The Dancer’ is published at page 206.
My image is the cover of an article titled ‘The liberating discipine’ where the author, Kim Williams, writes great words about the public school education and the importance of the music. Here a citation:
“It saddens me to think that we are increasingly compelled to defend music
by reference to other impacts rather than in reference to music itself. Music is
good for one. Period. It is good for the soul. It is good for human tolerance. It
opens one’s perception. It frees one’s mind. It reinforces our capacity to feel and
understand.”
Griffith Review is an interesting Australian publication. Here its web site: www.griffithreview.com
Sometimes I wonder whether my shots reflect my moods.

I’m proud about the next shot becouse it has been featured in The Fine Art of Photography group on Redbubble.

Her name is Hope, the children are the hope of the world and yes…this hope hangs by a thread…
Last month I partecipated without any success to the round 4 of the Crestock Photoshop Contest. The theme was “Apocalyptic Christmas” with the following explanation: ‘The cost of living is up, our savings are gone, our jobs are at risk and the economy is in free-fall. Now all we need is a seasonal greeting card to match!’
Now Xmas is coming and I like present this my work. Notice that only the image of the hand is a my shot.
Moreover I want to add a couple of links as reflection.
English isn’t my language and I’m not so clever with the words so I want mark out those ones of a woman and photographer I admire a lot: Birte Ragland
And then these interesting proposals for a New World
Only dreams? I like thinking to it as a first step…
